Current VR Project:
Work on Hold Your Ground is still happening! However, It is primarily a side project for my team and I to work on in our free time. We hope to one day be able to support it until it fully releases, however due to our school and work schedules that is just not possible at this time. Keep checking in on Steam for new updates as they come along!
HYG (Hold Your Ground) was a very insightful project that I was able to work on with two good friends of mine that I met at Abilene Christian University. Through it I was able to learn how to manage a project and lead a team with my own creative direction in mind. And while my teammates helped collaborate some of the more nuanced aspects of HYG, I am happy to say that the original pitch that I gave to them has officially been brought to life and published. As you can see below we went from a pretty clunky VR interface to a slightly more polished VR interface, as well as adding a leaderboard so that players can see how they stack up against us Devs. HYG would not have been possible without our lead programmer Bryce Gattis, and our lead level designer Andrew Thomas.

I made this Dev Update Video for my Current VR Project HOLD YOUR GROUND to show off our current basic environment that we are testing our AI in, as well as getting the lighting and animations in check. We are Using UNREAL ENGINE 4 to make this project. It has been great to become more familiar with the engine and Designing the level with the tools and lighting that unreal has created.
Previous VR Projects:
I am Designing and updating my own Steam VR Homeroom! It was very insightful, and the reason I underwent this project was to learn how to publish to steam, and to familiarize myself with the SteamVR tools, as well as Valve's Hammer Editor.
